Upcoming U-Boat Project by Archaeological Discovery Ventures, LLC was contacted by two separate retired military officers. One who had been a translator listening in on Nazi war criminals awaiting trial. Another who said he had witnessed the capture of a Nazi U-Boat after the end of World War II off the coast of the United States. The U-Boat had surfaced, presumably to recharge its batteries, when it was spotted by an American aircraft. The aircraft radioed to a nearby miliarty vessel, which responded immediately. Upon coming closer to the U-Boat, it submerged to escape capture. The US vessel fired a warning depth charge, which was apparently close enough for the U-Boat to realize that its options were limited. Rather than be destroyed, the ship surfaced and surrendered to the US vessel. As the crewmembers were being transferred to the US vessel, one of the Elite SS Servicemen turned a few strategic valves and scuttled the ship. All crewmembers were safely evacuated before the U-Boat went down. Unfortunately, it's entire cargo perished to the depths. The prisoners were sent back to German to stand trial for war crimes. While incarcerated, the Nazi officers' cells were eavesdropped upon by US military personnel in an effort to acquire additional information. The Elite SS Serviceman who had scuttled the ship bragged to his cell mates about what he had accomplished. Rather than see their treasures captured and in the hands of the US Military, he followed orders and scuttled the ship. He went on to talk about their secret cargo, which included priceless works of art that had been looted from churches and museum across Europe. The primary cargo, however, was a tremendous amount of gold bullion that was intended to help fund the 4th Reich in Argentina, where the U-Boat was originally headed prior to its capture. The gold onboard had been tortuously removed from the dental work of concentration camp prisoners, had been looted from houses of worship across Europe, and pillaged from families, banks, and businesses in the wake of their conquests. While this represents a tremendous amount of funds, ADVL's belief is that the gold is stained with the blood of the victims of the Holocaust and to profit from its recovery would be an insult to the victims, the survivors, and their families. ADVL will utilize any Nazi bullion recoverd from the wreck to create foundations and other organizations that will provide some semblence of reparations to the victims of the Holocaust. The officer bragged about other treasures and occult objects and religious relics that were stowed aboard the ill-fated U-Boat. These are likely also to be part of the extensive deep water recovery. Our research leads us to believe that much of the artwork was stored in air-tight tubes, which would have preserved the works in the event of a compartment flooding. It is very likely that these tubes have continued to protect these priceless works of art in the low-oxygen, low-light frigid waters of the Atlantic. Regarding the ship, we believe it to be in international waters. As it was scuttled with all crew accounted for, it does not constitute a war grave. As Nazi Germany no longer exists, no government would have claim to the wreck, assuming it is in international waters. Our hope is to work with the appropriate authorities to protect the integrity of the wreck, make as full a recovery as possible, and ensure the safe return of all provable cargo. ADVL plans to recover and restore as much of these works of art to their very best possible condition. Certainly, many families, museums, galleries, and houses of worship are the rightful owners of these pillaged works. ADVL will NOT fight to keep these pieces. All pieces that can be accounted for will be returned to their rightful owners. However, as is customary in salvage operations, ADVL will be due and shall collect a reasonable salvage fee plus expenses for restoration of the artwork. In compensation for its efforts, ADVL will also retain rights of exhibition for all recovered works for the first several years after the recovery and restoration of the artwork. The artwork will be part of a traveling exhibit that will visit some of the finest museums in the world to provide as many people as possible an opportunity to view these works in person. Imagine having the opportunity to view an original Van Gogh, Monet, Greco, Michelangelo, Rembrandt or Da Vinci that had been thought to have been lost forever! Once the exhibits are completed, the works will be returned to their rightful owners without the need for decades of litigation as has been seen in other works recovered from Nazi crimes. ADVL is presently accepting investors for this project. Through years of painstaking research, we have been able to independently verify the information provided to us by the two military officers, one of whom has since passed away. We have also narrowed down our search area to approximately 5 square miles based on coordinates provided by the eye witness. We are just begining to rebuild our fleet for this incredibly deep salvage operation. For more information on potential investment opportunities, please visit our investment page.
